Wordless Wednesday: North Wind Blew South - Headless Heroes ft. Alela Diane

  1. Sounds like it is right out of the late 60's. Very similar in sound to Its a Beautiful Day

  2. Thanks for your astute comment Dan!

The original "North Wind Blew South" was recorded by Philamore Lincoln who had his debut album in the 60s and released via an album in 1970.

This version, however, was recorded by Alela Diane (an amazing singer - well worth looking up on YouTube) for the Headless Heroes' album released last year.

  3. The video is really cool, but the song, I'm now sure what does that remind me, but I'm having some kind of a dejavu moment when I'm listening to it right now. Yet can't point out why.

    Thank you for sharing.
I love music too, and this is my first time on your blog :)

  4. Aww thank you Ingrid :) nice to meet you!
